Its a very sad week for the music industry with the passing of Michael Jackson. While there are mixed feelings about his strange antics over the last few years, no one can dispute his talent as a songwriter, entertainer and singer. Michael Jackson was the King of Pop and always will be.

The final death toll will not be known for days, as forensic experts perform the grim task of searching for the deceased. The shear number of houses to look through is thought to be around 750. While many are starting to come to grips with the tragedy, the risk is still not over with 23 bushfires still out control, and various townships being put on alert.

With over 5000 people now homeless, the Red Cross and Salvation Army have come to the aid of those who need it most.

A new section called Photography has been added to the Information Menu.
