Kiama is seaside south coast town about 40 km away from Wollongong and about 100 kms away from Sydney. It has a small population of just over 11,000 people which makes it the perfect destination to get away from the city.
Kiama is well known for its many attractions, the famous blowhole being one of these. The blowhole is a rock formation that has been generated over hundreds of years from water wearing away at the rocks.
From the picture you can see the huge spray of water that shoots from out of the hole. It is well worth a look.
While you are in the area why not visit the local wharf and fresh fish markets.
If you in Kiama why not do a spot of shopping. Kiama boasts a large number of arts & craft, aromatherapy, and souvenirs shops. These can be found along the main street (Terralong Street) and Collins Street where the Terrace Houses are situated.
Kiama is great place to relax, hit the beach or do some shopping.
